DEEP IN THE HEART OF TEXAS

           AUSTIN

A few weekends ago we hopped a plane to Texas, my first experience with anything southern! The Hotel San Jose was our first stop and it was an immediate connection! I'm usually commited to airbnb and airbnb only. Price and location are usually so much better than any hotel and I'm definitely a traveler who likes to do like the locals do. But sometimes its nice to be a little more taken care of, which we totally got at the San Jose. I mean, there was a bucket of beer waiting in the room!

We only had a few requirements for this trip, find great margaritas, shop vintage stores, eat delicious bbq and queso, find more margaritas, and swim! We conquered all but the bbq! And maybe its because I'm from southern California and possibly a little bias, but I think we win the margarita dept! Sorry Autsin, but you definitely win the queso game!

And between all things fun, Morgan and I tried to get some shots for our new shop Comrade and Forge. Which is opening soon, but not fast enough!

C & F

That robe was everything!

Probably one of my all time favorite vintage stores. Uncommon Objects alone is worth a second trip to Austin!

Pretty much the view for the whole trip...

It makes sense.

I could seriously travel with these three anywhere.
